Your blogs are beginning to be shaped nicely. Some f you really were able to add javascripts and pictures etc. Mainly this is to help you learn how easy it can be to a) publish on line and b) to create and be creative with your blog. In the future you can use these blogs or create different blogs as a way to communicate ideas, share life stories and experiences, etc.
picture of my daughter at 1 year in front of the blog (of her at 6 months) that chronicles her life, so that family and friends can read about her...on the sitemeter I confirm on average 30 hits a day...its a great way to share and also chronicle her life.
the question might be raised: WHY BLOG?
I did find some websites where people list why they blog.
It can be for professional or personal reasons.
For this course...I am asking you to in a sense BLEND these two.
professionally you are exploring educational issues, hot topics, philosophy, social justice. Then in response to your research, you are reflecting upon your findings. Sharing your thoughts on these ideas. GO DEEP...
Another use of blogs is that they beginning to become a major media for people to obtain local, national, and world news. It offers often a view on news without the bias of corporate funding. On the flip side it offers news that really might not be monitored by anyone.
the biggest blog news site is Huffington Post...or at least one of them. They have many contributors. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/
